Suzanne graduated from the Studio Jewellery and Small Object Design program at the Kootenay School of the Arts. She has also completed various courses at the Alberta College of Art and Design, Diamond Essentials certificate from the Gemological Institute of America and most recently a stone setting certificate from the New Approach School for Jewellers.
For over a decade after graduation she owned and operated a retail shop that featured other Canadian jewellery designers while she focused on the creation of custom jewellery and repairs.
Most recently, she is creating one-of-a-kind work from her home studio in Ontario. Sculpturally based, her work is created using traditional goldsmithing techniques and is often inspired by literary devices and the human mind and emotions. She enjoys the freedom of experimenting within her work and solving the technical challenges that it brings.
