Our Story
During the first half of the 19th Century, the German Mold Making Company Gebr. Schneider manufactured molds to make lead toys. For decades, our Great Uncle Kornelius Hildebrand crafted them from a private foundry in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Given our love for miniatures and a similar process to what we use for precious metals, these toys are being given a new life.
After years of the molds living on a shelf in the shed in an old milk bag, we are keeping the family tradition alive by casting ornaments and toys in shiny, lead-free pewter.
We hope you find something that ignites the curiosity of being a child again,
Suzanne and Andrew
